The 4Ocean bracelet is made from 100% recycled materials, the cord from recycled water bottles and the beads are made from recycled glass bottles.

While the bracelets are not currently made from the trash that 4Ocean collects during their cleanups, the beads and the cord from our bracelets are made from post-consumer recycled plastic water bottles and recycled glass bottles. Although not all of these bottles come from their ocean cleanups - they're the bottles that are being recycled by everyday users. However, all of the bottles that are collected in the cleanups are recycled so it’s not to say that it's impossible that one of these bottles end up in a bracelet.

4Ocean hope that when you are finished with your Bracelet or when it needs to be retired, that you remove the stainless steel charm and recycle the rest of the bracelet to ensure it doesn't end up back in the ocean or on the coastlines.
