Last night I spent an excellent evening at the Greats Gift Retailer and the Gift Of The Year awards at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. We had gathered together to celebrate the best of our industry in the company of many fantastic retailers, designers, makers and manufacturers.

I was delighted and very grateful to join Clare, Mark and the Talking Tables team to watch the evening unfold over a glass or two(!).

It was a wonderful surprise and a real honour to come away with a Greats Award for the Best Retail Initiative (sponsored by Candlelight UK) for our 'Save The Tiger' fundraising campaign. You can read more about what the Paper Tiger team and I are doing to raise funds for Tiger Conservation with the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation.

Congratulations to all of the finalists, it's humbling to win something when you can see the hard work and effort that everyone has put in to their businesses over the last couple of years of pandemic trading. I am truly honoured.
