New ink on the block

Writing with a fountain pen is undergoing something of a renaissance. Have you watched this BBC TV series? It's been fascinating viewing.  

The book in the photo - How To Draw And Write in Fountain Pen- is a modern guide to using a fountain pen ina creative way across your notebooks and journals. I love the Preppy Pens range of colourful pens and inks, a simple and cheap way to get an ink fix ,and  I am going to try out this block font in my diary this week. There are examples, exercises and practice papers included in the book, and it makes a great gift for anyone who enjoys adding some flair to their work.
