I am very pleased to announce that Paper Tiger is launching a collaboration with Robert Smail's Printing Works.

We have worked together to produce an initial collection of ten letterpress birthday cards, available to buy exclusively at the Paper Tiger stores and our website, and at the Print Works shop in Innerleithen, Scotland. 

Having spent time at the Works with Tony and Jack over the last couple of years, I was able to develop this range with whilst navigating my way through snow storms on the A703, and the difficulties of working remotely during a pandemic. 

We are all delighted with the results. These ten designs are a collaboration that brings together retail and market knowledge, design, print, and typesetting skills, and the passion, enthusiasm and ultimately perseverance(!) of Tony and Jack and I to see the project reach the shop shelves. I love Letterpress cards, I love working in collaboration with enthusiastic people, and I love the authenticity of the process. Each step matters, from the composition, selection of card and colours, through to the print process that gives texture and life to the designs.

I have written a series of blogs on the Print Works, the process of Letterpress printing, and the cards in our range. 2021 is the fortieth anniversary of Paper Tiger trading on the High Street, and being able to bring this exclusive range to our stores after such a difficult year has been a huge positive for me.
