Our new Paper Tiger store has opened at 194-196 Morningside Road, Morningside, Edinburgh.

The Paper Tiger team has worked so hard to get the store looking absolutely eye poppingly fantastic, whilst making sure that our shops online, in Stafford Street and Lothian Road in Edinburgh have traded successfully while we have been preparing to open.

My Tigers are the best Tigers. 

We're also delighted to have Augustus Tiger on the side of our new shop. I am indebted to Catherine Rayner for taking my very basic idea, and turning it into something very special that has brought tears of delight to my eyes. I sincerely hope that, like Augustus, you can also find your smile at Paper Tiger. We have Catherine's very special baby wear range on the shelves of the new shop alongside her cards and books.

The support of our suppliers and their reps and agents has been both spectacular and very emotional. We work with over 200 makers, illustrators, designers, and publishers, and their delight in our growth has been an amazing experience for me. I can't namecheck them all, but we are blessed to have our industry behind us all the way. Thank you.

The people that keep our business in business - electricians, decorators, IT, security systems, and sign makers have all stepped up to make sure we opened up today with barely a hitch or a glitch. Thank you.

In the last 24 hours, as the signs went up and the windows were revealed, we have been thrilled by the reaction we have had from our Morningside customers. As I type, I am watching shoppers enjoying the shop from a table in MOMO Edinburgh - a lovely cafe across the road from our new shop!
