The Art File Traditional Shut the Box

Rediscover the timeless thrill of a traditional pub classic with this gorgeously reimagined Shut the Box set, born from a collaborative partnership between British heritage favourite Gibsons and design studio The Art File.

Dressed in rich berry tones and adorned with lush, kaleidoscopic illustrations of exotic beetles, moths, and tropical foliage, this edition transforms simple arithmetic and dice rolling luck into a truly captivating tabletop showpiece.

Inside, a solid wooden playing tray lined with vibrant emerald green felt provides a quiet, satisfying roll for the coordinating dice as players take turns flipping the numbered tiles.

Deceptively addictive and effortlessly fast paced, it makes a splendid, design-led gift that is destined to become a firm favourite for lively gatherings, cosy evenings by the fire, or a rainy Sunday afternoon challenge.
