This month they focus on the Bluefin tuna and the threat it now faces.

Due to both overfishing and illegal fishing, the population of Bluefin tuna continues to decline rapidly. It is the world’s favourite luxury fish dish and this exclusive demand is making it increasingly difficult to protect. Recently, their Atlantic population has decreased as much as eighty five percent. If the species is to survive we need to raise awareness of their plight and to stop thinking of this beautiful animal as just food on our table.
